How do I go about purchasing Tax Deeds in California?

Hello, I live in Santa Clara County California, how would I go about getting a list of tax foreclosure sales in my area and actually buying Tax Deeds to properties out here?

1. Contact your county tax office,they have a list of all properties for the tax sale and should have detailed instructions as how to proceed.
2. Foreclosure sales are public records. You go to the county recorder and search their records. Each county in California conducts sales each year for people that have not paid their taxes property taxes for 5 years. Contact the county tax collector for information. Tax sales are for cash at the time of the sale. There are VERY FEW bargains at tax sales. It is mostly open land.
